今年で4回目！！

3年前の友人の結婚式でハワイ旅行に来て以来すっかりハワイの虜になっています!

8月26日の早朝に妻と妹と友人の4人でワイキキのホテルをレンタカーで出発して9時の開店と同時におじゃましましが何と通常のオプションツアーの時とは違ってお店の中も他にはお客さんもいなかったので、Tシャツやらトートバックやらゆっくりと買い物を楽しむことが出来ました。

もちろんShave IceもOriginal Flavorをいただきました！

相変わらず超美味しい！

そして何と外でアイスを食べていたら・・・ご主人の松本さんが出てきて20分ぐらいでしょうか・・たくさんのお土産話をしていただきました。

とても貴重な思い出ありがとうございます。

ちょっと悔しいのは松本さんと写真を撮るのをすっかり忘れたことです。。（残念）

でもまた秋口の10月あたりにハワイに旅行しようかと妻と計画中！

今度こそは写真撮らせてください。

The best!

Thanks so much for the best shave ice ever!! the 20 minute wait was definitely worth it! Mmmmm. Hawaiian shave ice, with azuki bean on the bottom, snow capped on the top (condensed milk). Heaven!

LOVED IT!
Just got back from Oahu...and the first thing that I miss is Matsumoto's shaved ice.  I had the BEST time out there and wish we could get a Matsumoto's here in the mainland.  Preferably somewhere here in Northern California.  I had the BEST experience coming into your store.  And I will most definitely come visit your store again.

I wish we had one in CA

I remember having my first Matsumoto shave ice in 1985 while on a family vacation.  Since then, I have visited the island frequently and I always stop by to get my fix.  In fact, we will be there next week and can't wait - pina colada with ice cream  YUMMMM.   

Happy 60th anniversay Matsumoto!  Here to more good times and good memories.

Can't wait to get back to Hawaii!

I visited Hawaii in March and have been drooling over the memory of Matsumoto's ever since.  Who would have ever thought that beans, ice cream and flavored ice could be so heavenly.

In my week's stay, I managed to visit three times. Don't let the line discourage you.  Good things come to those who wait.

My yearning is enough for me to visit the website 6 months later, AND leave this entry!

We love Matsumoto's!!!
Happy Anniversary! Here's to 60 yrs and 60,000+ more!  Had my first in '05. My hubby & I LOOOVED it!  I'll be there next week!  And Matsumoto's is #1 on must visit list.  Shave ice w/ ice cream & Azuki beans u cannot have anywhere else.  The place is a MUST see & taste!  Keep up the great job!  Aloha!!

Long Lost Local sending new Locals there!
I grew up on Oahu, but married military and have lived in Germany for the past 5 years (after a 6 yr stint in TX) and some good friends just arrived on Oahu last week, and I was telling them today they HAVE to find Matsumoto's ASAP!!!  I can taste it now!!!

wow you guys are amazing!!!
My husband and I thought that it was ridiculous to stand in line for shave ice, but we did to just because we were skeptics.. oh boy shave ice here is the best ever... My husband who doesn't have a sweeth tooth for any kind of sweets thought that it was "SO FREAKING AWESOME AND PERFECT" it's perfectly flavored. My plan is to try to taste all the flavors.

Good stuff

I saw matsumoto's shave ice on the food network and it is said to be the best ice cream in the world..i havent tried it yet but i will when i visit hawaii in 3 weeks..im hoping its as good as it says it is and wat a great idea to put icecream under the shave ice...!!!

We love Matsumoto's!

My family and I just arrived back to the Mainland from Hawaii.  While visiting our relatives in Oahu, we had to make the usual visit to Matsumoto's.  It was my 3 year old daughter's first visit to Matsumoto's.  Boy, did she gulp down the rainbow shaved ice.  Congratulations on 60 years!  Aloha and Mahalo!

Your online shop could use more selection of women's shirts (long-sleeve and tank-tops) and maybe some cute bags, key chains etc.

You MUST visti Matsumoto's while vacationing in  Hawai'i. You'll be glad you did.
